About WillJam Productions
For over four decades, WillJam Productions has been one of the leading concert promotion and event production companies in the United States. The company has been led by Jim Anderson, one of the most-respected promoters in the United States, and, though his long-established relationships with the nation's top booking agencies, WillJam has booked numerous national acts at leading performing arts venues.
In addition to our experience in booking and tour promotion, WillJam is creating new, exclusive touring properties, including the FunkFest funk music festival, which will bring exciting entertainment opportunities to markets which have not traditionally been served by top-tier tours and festivals.
In 2016, we expanded our services into the field of artist management and development, national touring and corporate events. Joining our management team are two internationally-recognized music industry legends who bring entirely new areas of experience to our portfolio.
Buzz Willis is a legendary music industry executive, who started out as the youngest division Vice President in the history of RCA, creating the first Black Music Division for the label. He is personally responsible for the music industry's first platinum jazz album, produced by Creed Taylor of CTI and distributed by Motown Records, and has broken new ground throughout his career.
Robert "Kool" Bell is one of the world's most recognized performers and bassists, whose music, as co-founder of Kool & The Gang, is part of American culture. In a career that has spanned over 50 years, they have sold more than 70 millon records, and songs like "Celebration," "Ladies Night," and "Jungle Boogie," are international hits that have earned the group numerous awards, Hall of Fame inductions, and even a place in the Smithsonian.
This team has deep roots in every aspect of the music industry and the vision to nagivate all of the changes that are taking place in the production, distribution and promotion of music and artists.
